MIDNIGHT GLOW (1) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Pakenham over 2500m, beaten 1.3 lengths. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Leading contender. FILADEEL (4) is in the premier stable and improved last start to finish third over 1887m at Kyneton. Fitter again and is ready for the step-up to the staying journey. Nicely placed to feature. DHARAM SHALAA (9) missed 1L three back at Hanging Rock over this distance and has placed his last two at middle distances. Hard fit and is a chance with average luck in the run. TRIORA (6) is MG's stablemate and we know she will run out the trip. Fourth up now with more to offer. DISTILLERY (2) continues to race well and deserves a crack over the 2400m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Midnight Glow appeals most.
