Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Smart Raptor. DERMA BEELZEBUB (10) has been a regular in the winners' stall of late including last start in dominant fashion over 1400m at this track. Winning rider Yoshiki Yamada retains the mount. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he can win again. A SHIN ENBARR (7) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by one length over 1400m at this track. That continued the solid form this campaign, with three wins and three minor placings from nine runs. Big chance once again. ULTRA NO HOSHI (5) is in winning form after scoring as favourite last time out by one length over 1300m at this track. Boasts seven wins here. Shinsuke Ishikawa who has three wins when partnering stays on. Certainly one to consider. LORD MIDNIGHT (8) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1400m at Himeji, finishing 19 lengths back in 11th. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
