From the wide draw Cracked It can cross and set up a solid tempo. HEGELY (10) looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 975m at this track. Should present on-song well following a recent trial win at Bendigo. Will ride the speed and can make a winning return. BIMBALLA (8) is in a top metro yard and went close at Moe. Has the blinkers on for the first time and John Allen rides. Peaks now and is sure to feature. CONISTON SPICE (4) debuts and is also in good hands. Has impressed at the jumpouts and draws the inside barrier. CRACKED IT (9) led and found one better at Colac. This is tougher but he will skip across and give a sight. WHERE'S MY SOCK (7) resumes and has placed this course/distance. Won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hegely gets the nod.
