Loads of pressure, primarily from Factually, Simply Luscious and Majestic Maremma. BARNAGE (1) raced in town last time at Caulfield Heath and was beaten 2.25 lengths. Went close at Kyneton prior and will enjoy the significant drop in grade. Will be hard to stop. SURPRISATIC (2) went back-to-back with an easy win at Kerang but hasn't threatened the two since. They have been in better class and he draws the inside barrier. Has been kept on the fresh side and finds a suitable race to turn things around. FACTUALLY (13) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a spell over 1009m at Yarra Valley beaten a half-length. Crossed and led in that and may do the same today. Just has to hold the form to feature in the finish. DRY FIRE (9) has also been out of the winner's circle for a long time but is knocking on the door and has the blinkers applied again. MISTAVAIN (4) resumes and has trialled well. Has an outside gate but would be in the mix if presented on song. SUGGESTED PLAY: Barnage to win.
