Reasonable tempo with Chiaro probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. ALFANO (4) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1350m at this track, finishing second and beaten half a length. Can keep the ball rolling. SHINOHARA (10) also doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but was good here last time when finishing a close fourth. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. ORIEDOS (3) is another that doesn't win often but was denied narrowly here last start. Deserves following up. QUEENOFTHEAIR (9) is proving frustrating for her supporters but finds a nice race down in the weights and from the low draw. Have to keep safe. RAZELLA (5) is in the mix if Crowther can just settle her closer. SUGGESTED PLAY: Alfano gets the nod.
