VENIRE (7) settled in a rearwards position and never came on when resuming last start, finishing eighth and beaten 16 lengths over 1300m at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. SOUTHERN NIGHTS (5) finished third last time over 1300m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will trim down second-up. In the right race and is sure to be prominent.
