Nanan is the probable leader in the small field. MEISHO KAIKON (7) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten a head. That followed a win here the start prior. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. NANAN (3) turned in a fine effort to win by 0.8 lengths at this course and distance last start in a much-improved run. This looks a sterner test but on his best form he is right in contention. POTENZA (5) missed the frame last start over 1500m at this track when fourth. Anticipating a big run this time. OUTER SPACE (4) was out of the money last start over 800m at this track, finishing sixth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
