Plenty of runners but a dawdling affair is on the cards. RUN RUN TIMING (10) led and won easily over this track and trip last time out, scoring by 1.5L. He draws the inside again today and drops 6kg with the rise in grade. He rates highly off that latest performance however and this looks to shape similarly. Can go on with the job now. VIVACIOUS WIN (7) has finished behind Stormi his past couple, beaten 0.3L last time out and we'll have a good guide on that form through the race prior. The blinkers are reapplied here after a quiet trial recently. Drawn out but has some tactical speed and another forward showing is on the cards. ABSOLUTE AWAKENED (4) disappointed last time out when getting a long way back and not featuring in the finish. He was in better touch prior and Purton reunites with him today. Expect him to sit much closer and return to form. DASHING MAURISON (11) can be flying home late in the race as he has been recently at Sha Tin.
