Plenty of pace evident with Isshin and Peisha Medalist leading the way from Quantum Leap and Patrol Run. HAGINO KA NOA (7) was safely held on the JRA circuit two back then appreciated the easier company last time when third over 1500m at this track. Nicely placed in this similar contest and should feature again. PATROL RUN (1) improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Suitably placed and anticipating another big run. DELTA FOUR (3) failed to figure last time over 1800m at this track when fifth. Among the main hopes. QUANTUM LEAP (10) did a great job to score by one length over this course and distance last start in a much-improved run. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp.
