A hot tempo is expected with plenty of speed engaged. CHICARITO (8) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 1200m at this track six months ago and has not raced since. Looks promising and can measure up again. TAM'S KNIGHT (7) returned from a spell seven-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into seventh over 1000m at Greyville. Has never missed the placings at the second run back. Strips fitter and can feature. WHO BLINKED (3) did a great job to score by 1.75 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up performance. No reason he cannot salute again. MAPHAKA (6) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 1200m at Greyville All Weather. Good enough on his day and can run a bold race.
