Sansanee should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep her honest. SLIP THE JAB (4) broke his Maiden last start over 1000m at Belmont Park first-up with a bit in reserve. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Chris Parnham retains the mount. Looks capable of back-to-back wins despite the step up in grade. RIPPER FAROOQ (1) threatened at this track four times and then didn't handle the quick back-up last time in stronger. He likes to run along and has the blinkers applied again and a handy 3kg claim. Sure to give a big sight. BEAU'S A LAD (3) has raced his last two here in tougher company. Dropped back to this distance last time freshened 42 days and will be better for that outing. Probably best over longer now, but he has good ability and maps to get every chance. GINGERBREAD GIRL (6) is proven second-up and has a key jockey switch to Pike. Jumps from the paint with the blinkers on for the first time and is in the mix back to a shorter sprint. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Slip The Jab.
