OSCAR (1) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown plenty of ability at the trials and Cartwright stays on top for race day. Draws favourably in gate two for his debut and is sure to be well-educated out of the Gough yard. Keep very safe. SAINT ALDWYN (4) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out but go on the solid second at Canterbury when resuming. Worth another chance. CASTLEREAGH AFFAIR (8) is another on debut but has looked handy winning both trials and gets the services of Thompson in the irons. Respect any market confidence. PEARLS IN JUNE (11) resumes here but showed enough in her first campaign to warrant consideration in a race like this. Solid top-three prospects while fresh. THE AVIATOR (5) next in line.
