Fast tempo assured with Spicy Spangle, Nebraskan and King Alloy going toe-to-toe. ALWAYS MY FOLKS (8) led and capitulated over 1200m at Sha Tin last time out, beaten 3.3L when fresh from a short break. He drops back to 1000m here with Purton taking the ride in a good push for his chances. His last run here three back rates highly and a return to that form will see him hard to hold out. NEBRASKAN (4) was no match for the winner last time out at this track and trip when jumping the race favourite, beaten 3L. DBM rides now from another good draw and his form prior suggests he was on the cusp of another win. Can put his best foot forward here. MODEST GENTLEMAN (10) hasn't been far away in recent efforts as he's been flying home from the back, beating Nebraskan last time out. He remains down in the weights and while he hasn't won for a while, he continues to threaten. Not to be discounted. ROBOT KNIGHT (7) has bolted in at the trials since a disappointing run on the All Weather 49 days ago. Can bounce back in a big way.
