Strong tempo assured with Cuban Lord and A Big Chance leading the way over Hotch Potch. EAGLELOU (1) made good late ground last start to grab third over 1880m at Kingscote. Will appreciate stepping back out to this trip and gets in well with the 2kg claim. Big chance. CUBAN LORD (3) is yet to miss the placings in four starts over this course and distance and it's worth noting Fawke reunites with a strong association. Best figures measure up and he deserves serious consideration. HOTCH POTCH (2) is yet to strike through this campaign but has been thereabouts of late and should be at peak fitness now for this rise in trip. Expect him to be handy from his middle draw and have something to offer when they quicken. A BIG CHANCE (5) has been much better in his last two and is another that should appreciate the rise in trip. Crowther's booking signals confidence. SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Eaglelou.
