PHILIPPINE (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1600m after being prominent from the outset. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. CUBEBE PEPPER (13) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the turn before being beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 1200m at this track. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish. JOLLY HARMONY (8) returned from a spell three weeks ago when she was prominent at the bend before being beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 1600m at this track. Second up record is very strong. Strips fitter and can play a major role. SHANK DOLL (9) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Worth plenty of thought.
