Pace strong with Garaku and Queens Wharf leading with Mirada Caliente nearby. MAGLIA IRIDATA (8) is yet to miss the placings in two starts, including a win. Is at the races for the first time since she finished second over 1800m at Tokyo on May 3. Nice class drop this time. Sure to feature. CUTIE LIP (13) accounted for a maiden field over 1600m at Tokyo last start, finishing a neck ahead of the nearest rival. Capable of making it two on the trot. GARAKU (2) got off the mark over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt last start, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. This is tougher but she cannot be underestimated. COSMO ISHTAR (1) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1800m at Tokyo, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth. Well placed to turn things around.
