Tricky one to map with a large contingent of first starters but expect good early pressure. UNA GENTLE (7) is free running and brings narrow defeats from Mornington and Sale on heavy tracks. Fitter again and has a 2kg claim and the blinkers are applied for the first time. Rates to be winning. DEEKAYGEEBEE (1) resumes and raced well in Open 2s in his initial preparation. Has a 2kg claimer booked and has won a Wangaratta jumpout. With natural improvement,she can make the finish. TEMPT THE GODS (2) missed a whisker first up and was backed off the map when comfortably winning a Bordertown Maiden on a heavy track following. Uses the low barrier and he can't be underestimated. TESSARION (6) ran a good number winning a Wagga Maiden and is a hope building on that. BIG STAR (9) will improve second up and this is easier than Bendigo. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Una Gentle.
