Genuine tempo with Mugshot, Prince Turbo and Run Jakko Run taking up forward positions. MUGSHOT (5) ran on late to finish fourth fresh up at Otaki 5 days ago. The extra 500m is ideal, and he won't mind the quick backup. Top amateur jockey Scotty Macnab picks up the ride, and he is the one to beat. INVISIBLE SPIRIT (1) was only caught in the shadow of the winning post at Te Aroha over hurdles 3 weeks ago and is more than capable on the flat at this level. Stick with him. Each way. CALL A FRIEND (4) dug deep when finishing second by a short head at Awapuni on the poly track there 3 weeks ago. She has a good record on a wet turf surface and is good enough to go one better. SUPER FLASH (2) is a handy veteran on the flat, and he can be forgiven for his last run at Waverley at the end of April. He has won 4 of his 8 starts fresh up and will be ready to run a big race in this. GRAND PROSPECT (8) kept on kicking for third on a very testing track at Trentham 15 days ago.
