MATENRO GIFT (10) is ready to win after he just missed last time, beaten a neck into second over 1800m at Hanshin after being in the firing line all the way. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. TAISEI FIORE (3) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of 12 weeks, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1800m at Hanshin. Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at Hanshin over 1600m. Bold showing expected. G T MONSIEUR (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1800m at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PIONEER SQUARE (5) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in third over 2000m at Hanshin. Likely improver worth including.
