Good pace with Muscular, Dona Solaire and Wide Alba matching motors. MUSCULAR (4) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1200m at Hakodate when third, beaten 2 lengths. Has plenty of upside so he will prove tough to beat. DONA SOLAIRE (10) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found one better over 1000m at this track. Big chance based on that effort. URESHII GOSAN (6) had good support on debut but ran below expectations when seventh over 1000m at this track. Expected to run much better this time. WIDE ALBA (11) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 7 lengths from the winner in fourth at this track over 1000m. Among the better hopes.
