Strong tempo with Winewomenandsong and Justadude leading from Zed Bee and Early Times. GO TRIGGER (1) has been game in defeat in his last couple of starts and likes to race handy to the pace, which should be a big advantage on a heavy track here. He has a good draw, and with the aid of a 3kg claim, he can break through for a well-deserved first win. ABANDONMENT (2) battled on bravely to finish fourth 5 days ago at Otaki. The extra furlong is ideal, and a wide draw might be a blessing in disguise by this time of the day. Hard to beat. CRAFTSMAN (3) has had a couple of runs on the Awapuni poly track and was not beaten far in each of them. He will be seasoned enough to handle a heavy track and is ready to run into the money for the first time in his career. Include in all combinations. WINEWOMENANDSONG (8) is resuming from a spell for his second career start as a 5-year-old gelding. His future lies over hurdles, but he did finish second in a recent trial on the flat. The market will be your best guide. BUNDY (9) won a trial prior to finishing eighth on debut at Otaki. SUGGESTED PLAY: Go Trigger and Abandonment boxed up in a quinella and exacta.
