Matsurida World is the likely leader at a strong tempo. SPROUTING (1) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by half a length over 1200m at this track. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the speed. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. LORD OF THE CHEKO (12) was well fancied last time but found one better at Mizusawa, finishing 1.3 lengths adrift at the end of 850m. Will appreciate the extra ground. Sure to run well. EMERALD BEACH (4) was in a different class last time out, settling well back before rounding up his rivals to score by 4 lengths over 1000m at this track. Among the main hopes. MATSURIDA WORLD (9) showed good early speed and led throughout to score by a nose last start over 1400m at Mizusawa. Record at this track is strong. Too good to ignore.
