Maruka Opera and Mikki Jewelry to take up the running at a strong tempo. MIKKI JEWELRY (3) is a promising type who scored at her only run last prep nine weeks ago over 1600m at Kyoto. Has an impressive first-up record including two victories. Should roll along and give a great sight. MARUKA OPERA (11) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by 1.3 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. WIN ACTEUR (8) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish 2.75 lengths away in third over 2000m at this track. Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. ARGENTEUS (6) was unwanted in betting when resuming last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten 1.2 lengths into fourth over 1600m at Hanshin. Can make an impact again.
