SMUG (8) jumped boldly in front at Trentham last time out and won easily. Unfortunately for his connections, his jockey had taken the wrong course, and he was disqualified. He is well placed in this and should set the record straight this time. FOURTY EIGHT (3) did not cope with the quick backup in his penultimate start and then failed to flatter back on the flat as an odds-on favourite at Awapuni on the poly track there 5 weeks ago. He has a chance to redeem himself over steeples for the first time. Follow your money. MUSE (10) finally had some good luck and finished third at Trentham last time out. She is normally a safe jumper and won't lack fitness. Each way claims here. MEANDEEL (5) has been steadily improving with jumping experience, and he should be suited by the bigger fences for the first time. Stick with him on an each-way basis. MR FABULOUS (1) failed to complete the course at Trentham in a tougher field at Trentham last start and will find this easier. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Smug to win.
