Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Up Tempest. UP TEMPEST (3) went fast early over 850m at Mizusawa last time and dug deep to score by 2.5 lengths. Will take advantage of the good draw. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SANEI WING (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1400m at Mizusawa. Likely improver with strong prospects. CAPE LIGHT (6) was in contention all the way and fought on for third last start over 1600m at Mizusawa, making it three minor placings in a row. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to take this out. RYUNO MEDINA (5) turned in a modest performance when sixth last time out over 850m at Mizusawa, beaten 5 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Worth plenty of thought.
