MIRACULOUS HANDICAP 1400m Track: GOOD
A race that lacks early pressure on paper. FIGHT TIME (5) stepped up to the mile last start and was a touch disappointing, beaten 3.5L as a $5.80 chance. The form out of his last two starts has been red hot however, and Purton replaces the apprentice hoop as he drops in grade. Ticks plenty of boxes and can shed the maiden tag. FAIRY HORSE (11) disappointed last start over 1200m, but stepping back out to 1400m is a big tick for his chances today. He gets the in-form apprentice Ellis Wong on board and the inside draw is a big tick for his chances. Best form is good enough and this shapes nicely for him. SIGHT DREAMER (4) flew home late to finish in the money las start and the rise in trip looks a good play. Atzeni hops in the saddle now and while he's 0/4 at the trip, his recent ratings stack up. Can feature once again. YOUNG HORIZON (7) has trialled well since his latest run where he wasn't beaten far. Won't be far away with Bowman sticking.
