Kokoro Odoru to take charge ahead of Speed Star at a solid tempo. SPEED STAR (1) battled on well to hold second last start over 850m at Mizusawa, beaten 1.5 lengths as favourite. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to feature. KOKORO ODORU (9) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths, last start over 850m at Mizusawa. Will take some beating. MARUKEI FORTE (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when sixth in a 1400m contest at Mizusawa two weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SAVANNAH NIGHTS (7) was in the money two starts back at Mizusawa but was unable to repeat the effort last time when ninth, beaten 11 lengths, at Mizusawa over 1400m. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
