HILL OF KINGS (2) has had 3 starts on the flat this prep and won a recent jumping trial at Cambridge. He has been placed in his only start over hurdles, and looks to be the one to beat in this. WHO'S SAM (3) looks to have a future in this role and was runner-up at Trentham 15 days ago when fighting hard all the way to the line on a very heavy track. Stick with him. THE REPUBLICAN (4) was a well-beaten third in the same race as the second pick and will be better for that experience. The extra 500m should not be an issue, and he can figure in the finish again. FAKE NEWS (7) is a 6-year-old gelding making his debut over jumps. He won a recent Foxton trial on the flat over a mile.
