Star Blazer should be able to comfortably find the front. FIRST DAY (5) is in top form at the moment and couldn't have impressed more when scoring by a space at Wagga a few weeks ago. No harder here and the form has been confirmed. Should take some beating again. DUE CALZINI (4) had his chance to beat First Day then broke through on the synthetic at Canberra. He is racing well and gets a 3kg weight swing to give him a shot. DOC MARCH (10) is still a maiden but racing quite well of late with placings at his past two. Trip should suit and he's an each-way hope. TAUMATA (6) and FINAL COMMENT (3) both disappointed in their latest but on best efforts could easily improve into placings. SUGGESTED PLAY: First Day to win.
