Solid tempo anticipated with Meiner Genius taking charge. I AM RUNRUN (6) has been safely held at her last couple of runs, the latest when 11th over 1800m at Tokyo. Will find this easier and she can bounce back. MEINER GENIUS (1) last appeared five weeks ago over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt when he finished 15th. This is his first run for the Tadayoshi Ikeda stable. Has found the right race and can take this out. ATHENA PARTHENOS (11) never really threatened when resuming last time out, finishing midfield and beaten 10 lengths over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. Should do far better this time. KITANO VULCAN (9) is back after a break of ten weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished 13th over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
