Solid tempo with Torta Caprese to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. SKYLIGHT (8) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 6 lengths over 1600m at this track as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with three wins from four runs. Leading player again. RIKEA SHIRANUI (7) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at this track with a win as favourite over 1300m at this track four weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. REGOLITH (4) has been racing in great heart with three top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 1600m at this track when he was handy all the way. Steps up a level but he is good enough to take this out. ONE LEON (5) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1600m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Placed to advantage so anticipating another big run.
