Expecting Monte Diana to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. MONTE DIANA (12) recorded her maiden win three back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at Kyoto. Yet to miss the frame from four starts at the trip, including a win. Leading contender. PEGASUS NORTH (8) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at Hanshin over 1600m last time, finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Likely improver with strong prospects. IN FLORE (16) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Hanshin, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter and can do a lot better. ARTHUR'S WAIN (11) is back at the races for the first time since April 26. Scored over 1200m at this track at the start of last prep. Makes plenty of appeal.
