Solid tempo with Conch Shell to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. CONTRAPPOSTO (10) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on 10 May, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths over 1800m in the G3 Epsom Cup at Tokyo. Capable of playing a major role in this company. KEIAI SENA (4) led to the turn over 1800m in Listed grade at Kyoto last time out but faded to finish sixth. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset once again. Expected to be in the finish. DONA BETTY (3) is a talented filly who tackled a tougher race at her last run on April 12 and finished ninth behind Safira over 1600m in the G2 Hanshin Himba Stakes. Yutaka Take is back on and has a solid record on the four-year-old, including three wins. Capable of running a bold race. SOLIDARITY (6) comes here off a break of ten weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 2000m at Hanshin. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
