Plenty of pace from Mignon Maroon, Maru Mori Delight and Regina Rose vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. FEE DES LUMIERE (2) saluted over 1150m at this track at her most recent appearance on April 27. Started to really put it together at the end of the maiden campaign and should come back bigger and better this time. Has found the right race. MIGNON MAROON (3) recorded a strong maiden win over 1200m at Niigata Dirt last time, getting there by 3.5 lengths. Jumps from a nice gate and she cannot be underestimated. REGINA ROSE (12) is going well with three minor placings from four starts this time in work. Turned in another good effort last time out when second over 1000m at Niigata. Can take the next step and salute. ENDLESS SUMMER (5) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 4.5 lengths away in eighth over 1400m at Tokyo on February 15 which was the only run of that prep. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past. This looks a nice way to kick off the prep.
