Trust M C and Landshut to bowl along in front. JOY BOY (1) was too good for a maiden field last start over 2400m at Kyoto, scoring by one length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under his belt. TAKE THE CROWN (9) is still a maiden after 15 starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Fukushima two starts back when resuming before finishing seventh over 2400m at Kyoto last start. Likely to be about the money. SHINE BAOBAB (4) wasn't far away last time at big odds, finishing third over 2400m at Hanshin. Definite danger again. RABUKA (10) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 2200m at Hanshin when resuming from a spell, beaten 2 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
