Barringer and Unlimited Ability to apply plenty of early pressure over the sprint journey. GHOST DOCTOR (1) has been a handy gelding in the past and is now well into the veteran stage of his career. He resumed from a spell for a new trainer and ran on strongly to finish second. He will continue to improve with racing and will make the most of his inside gate. A 2-kilo claim will help and he can go one better. NUTBUSH AMBUSH (2) has changed stables after losing form at the backend of his last campaign. He looked sharp when winning a recent Bendigo trial and will be ready to rumble fresh up. BARRINGER (13) was racing well enough on the picnic circuit earlier in the year and this lineup is no harder. He comes to hand quickly and even from a wide gate, he is capable of a top 3 finish here. PENSLEY (10) finished among the placings last time when second at Mt Gambier and should be further improved. Can figure in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Barringer each-way.
