Grade 2 placegetter CONTINUAR (8) is going well, scoring by 1.5 lengths two runs back at Kyoto Dirt before finishing fourth last time over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Should be prominent from the outset. Will prove tough to beat. TAGANO ESCORT (7) dropped out from the rails draw before closing late to finish sixth over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt last start. Sure to prove tough to stop. DANTE BAROWS (12) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing ninth last start over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt seven weeks ago. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will be in this for a long way. ICHINEN A GUMI (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 9 when beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth at Kyoto Dirt over 1200m. Well placed and can run a better race.
