A strong gallop is likely with Pascali and Ressortir taking up the running, closely attended by Toa Raiden and Lord Mannheim. LORD MANNHEIM (7) finished fourth last time out over 1800m at Kyoto, beaten 1.1 lengths. Ideally placed to score. GRANDES ALAS (5) lines up for the first time since April 13. Looking to emulate his win at Hanshin to kick off the last campaign. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. TOA RAIDEN (10) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing fifth last start over 1800m at Kyoto six weeks ago. Should park just off the speed despite the draw. Should be involved in the finish. RESSORTIR (9) was a determined winner two back then raced on the speed last time before finishing fifth over 2000m at Kyoto. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One of the better hopes.
