Theres A Light and Storm Ahead to set a strong early tempo joined by Erimitage pushing on from an outside draw. THERES A LIGHT (1) stayed on well when second over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course last time. He finished second in his only attempt over this course and distance. Raymond Danielson takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. GOLD FEVER (13) showed very good improvement in his last start over 1450m on the Inside course. He is a progressive type and if getting away to a clean start, he can feature. BATTLE OFTHE BULGE (9) is an unraced son of Lancaster Bomber from the Mike and Adam Azzie stable with Muzi Yeni in the saddle. If not too green in running, he should give a good account of himself. DYLAN'S CHAMP (12) is a nicely bred two-year-old colt on debut. By Rafeef from Massachusetts who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Promising type who is sure to be well-found in the betting.
