Small field but a good early tempo is expected with Layered Red, Live Baffy and Stahl Pesca pressing ahead. AQUA JET (5) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when fourth at Tokyo over 1800m, beaten 7 lengths. Expected to finish much closer with the race experience on board. LAYERED RED (7) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1600m at Tokyo, finishing fourth and beaten 6 lengths. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. LIVE BAFFY (1) was solid on debut last start when beaten 10 lengths into fifth over 1800m at Tokyo on June 9. Shapes as one to consider. NISHINO TANGUY (3) ended up 14 lengths behind the winner in sixth on debut last start over 1800m at Tokyo. Plenty of scope for improvement. Don't underestimate.
