Solid tempo anticipated with Arararara taking charge. SPIRIT GUIDE (4) finished midfield and was beaten 3.5 lengths over 1200m at Kyoto when resuming from a break last time out. The engagement of K Tosaki is noteworthy as it has proved a formidable combination. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from six starts and should prove tough to beat. ARARARARA (3) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Hakodate, beaten 5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. GOLD RICH (7) returns after a spell of ten weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1200m at Kokura. Sure to make his presence felt. FUMI SOUND (2) ran a better race when second up last start, finishing fourth and beaten 3.5 lengths at Tokyo. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Not to be discounted.
