Pressure on from word go with Puro Magic, Jasper Krone and Thermal Wind handlebars down ahead of T M Spada and Nanao. THERMAL WIND (3) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Only raced once last campaign which was a narrow defeat over 1200m in stakes class at Nakayama. Has the pace and the right draw to find a good early position. Sure to be in the finish. Multiple Grade 3 placegetter NANAO (14) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish third last start over 1200m in Group 3 class at Kyoto, beaten 1.4 lengths when fresh from a spell. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot take this out. JASPER KRONE (11) multiple Grade 3 winner. Last appeared when he finished 11th over 1200m in the G1 Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan on March 30. Has recorded two wins when first up from a break. Among the better hopes. PAIR POLLUX (9) fought on for second last start over 1200m in Group 3 grade at Kyoto, beaten 1.3 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Finds a suitable race and can make it to the winner's circle.
