---|---|---|---|---|
Strong early tempo with Set Up, Meisho Yozora and Allegro Brillante leading the way. WIN MAXIMUM (6) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing fifth over 2400m in the G2 TV Tokyo Hai Aoba Sho (Japanese Derby Trial) nine weeks ago. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Expected to be in the finish. SIRIUS COLT (1) is back after a break of 11 weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 2000m at Nakayama. Expect him to play a major role. SHOWMAN FLEET (12) built on a nice second two starts back at Nakayama with a win over 1800m at Tokyo seven weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. Grade 3 placegetter SATONO STRASSE (8) is a strong fresh performer back after a break of nine weeks and looking to emulate his win at Kokura to kick off the last campaign. Has found the right race and is worth including.
