Despite the wide draw On The Blossom should cross and set a genuine tempo. ON THE BLOSSOM (10) went forward over 1600m at Mizusawa last time and held on for second. Will be looking to cross and steady the tempo. Will prove tough to beat. JUPITER LUX (11) defied a lack of market support last start, scoring by a neck over 1400m at Mizusawa. Leading hope again. CUPID'S ARROW (4) is returning from a spell of 11 weeks. Finished 11th at this track over 1000m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Koji Sakurada. Solid top-three hope. TOSEN KATARINA (7) was beaten 3 lengths into fourth at the second run back from a break in a 1600m contest at Mizusawa two weeks ago. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
