Pace genuine with Lim's Saltoro and Aniki pressing hard closely followed by Makin and January. LIM'S SALTORO (3) has put together a couple of wins at this track, the latest in a Gr3 on June 9 over 1400m when he got home by half a length. Winning rider Marc Lerner retains the mount. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. MAKIN (4) is ready to win again after he just missed last time, beaten half a length into second over 1400m in the SGG3 Silver Bowl at this track. Drawn for a nice run just off the speed. Very honest and sure to give backers a sight. FLYING NEMO (6) was a winner two back at this track then was competitive last time when fourth over 1400m in the SGG3 Silver Bowl at this track, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Shapes as one to consider. LIGHTNING STRIKE (9) has accrued two minor placings from three runs this preparation. Finished 0.7 lengths from the winner in third at the latest outing over 1800m at this track. Up in grade but not out of it.
