Solid pace with Battle Hymn finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. FINGERS HUNTER (6) struck trouble early and never got into her rhythm from the wide gate with a respectable eighth in the Country Championships Final over 1400m at Randwick. Gets a better set-up for this and can finish over the top of these with the 3kg claim. PIMLICO (9) talented gelding held in high regard by the stable. Let down well on resumption with a comfortable 1200m win at Gosford in C1 grade. Looks up to this tougher test from the good draw. Sure to be thereabouts. UNSTOPABULL (4) hard fit for this and like the way he savaged the line with a narrow second over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Maps well and no surprise to see him take this out. KISS GOODNIGHT (10) nice filly going quickly through her grades. Dropped on them late with a tidy victory over 1200m at Wyong. On the quick back-up and stays in the mix at this stronger level. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fingers Hunter can return to winning form.
