Has a very good record here including four wins from seven starts. Best form puts him right in this. GUSHICHANNO HOSHI (3) proved too strong last start and scored by a neck over 1300m at this track. Boasts six wins here. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Best figures should see him run well. PUA LANI (6) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 1.75 lengths back in fourth over 1400m at this track. Must be included among the main hopes. HAKUAI ASSIST (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
