So Brassy and She's A Filly to battle for the leading role. SHE'S A FILLY (12) will be racing out of her grade, but she meets a field that is out of form, and will also benefit from a 2kg weight drop. A wet track is no problem, and she should go close to taking this out. MONTE KHAN (7) tried his heart out when finishing runner-up by a head here nearly a month ago over 1400m. He has looked likely in his last 3 starts, but seems to think about it a lot. His last run can't be ignored, and he has each-way claims again. LOVELOCK (6) ran an improved race last start for second here on Saturday, and he will put himself in a handy spot early on here from a good draw. Stick with him on an each-way basis, especially if the track is heavy. LANIKAI (4) has been very disappointing since relocating to the South Island, and was a touch unlucky here on Saturday when caught wide. Stick with him at big odds. ENDEAN ACE (5) drops right down in class, and a form reversal is on the cards. Each way value. SUGGESTED PLAY: She's A Filly can win, but also include Lanikai, and Endean Ace.
