BAILEY TESORO (1) had been in top form, scoring two consecutive wins before being sent out favourite last time and finishing second over 1300m at this track. Expected to be in the finish again. MARIA BOUQUET (8) showed early speed from a good draw last time and led throughout to score by 1.5 lengths over 1400m at this track. Winning rider Manato Hida sticks. Best form puts her right in this. ECORO GREAT (9) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 900m at this track, beaten only one length after being prominent at the bend. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to figure in the finish. GLINDA (5) finished 19 lengths away in tenth at her last appearance over 900m at this track on March 20 after she gave away a big start. Among the better chances in what looks a nice race.
