MONOLOGUE (10) has been game in defeat in each of her starts back from a spell, including her last start here over 1600m when beaten by a head. The extra 440m is ideal, and she is ready to take this out, especially on a wet track. BOZO (1) has been having her recent racing well spaced out, and was doing her best work late when finishing seventh at Otaki just over 6 weeks ago. She is better suited to a middle distance, and she is expected to finish a lot closer this time. WHO KNOWS (2) was too good fresh up Trentham when unleashing a big finish to get up late to score by a neck. She can put in a modest run second up, but she is older now, and she is looking good for a profitable winter. PLATINUM GODDESS (9) is a very promising mare who has made a lot of progress in a short time this season. She won her maiden here over this trip and may be suited by a wide gate if the track becomes heavy. Stick with her. SOL DE OTONO (7) has hit her straps this year and revels in the wet. Include.
